The BRAC proposal was fully supported by both President Bush and the Congress in September 2005. This plan is expected to blast these bases and surrounding areas economy through the roof over the next 2-8 years, generating even more jobs and forcing the already hot housing market to expand even more. This area is perceived to have one of the largest gains from the plan, which means that the economic development in the area will continue to be on a steep and steady rise over the next decade.
